From a young age, I found myself captivated by the idea of owning properties. My favorite childhood game was Monopoly, where I always aimed to own all the properties. Being the youngest in my family by nearly 10 years, I had to fight for the things I wanted, negotiate, and prove myself time and time again. This tenacity, mixed with my fascination for real estate, planted the seed for my future career.
My journey into real estate began in 2003, driven by a mix of personal passion and practical necessity. With three daughters’ demanding schedules and a 4-year-old son to care for, I needed flexibility. Friends and family often teased me about my habit of dragging my husband to open houses. One day, my husband, tired of the constant house tours, suggested I get my real estate license. His words, combined with encouragement from friends, set me on a new path.

As I built my career, I started working with investors, buying and selling multiplexes and other income properties. This approach was familiar territory, but over time, I expanded into the more emotional side of real estate—helping families find their dream homes. This transition was both challenging and rewarding. I learned to navigate the complexities of home buying and selling, from short sales to foreclosures, and found immense satisfaction in helping clients through one of the most significant purchases of their lives.
Balancing my career with family life was one of the greatest challenges I faced, but real estate offered the flexibility I needed. I could be there for my kids while also pursuing a career I loved. Sometimes, this meant taking my youngest, Earl, along to property showings or packing up our anxious rescue dog, Trooper, who couldn't bear to be left alone. These moments, though hectic, allowed me to blend my professional and personal lives seamlessly, often connecting with clients over shared family experiences.

Looking back, I realize that my journey into real estate was not just about finding a career; it was about finding balance and purpose. Real estate gave me the freedom to be present for my family while doing something I was passionate about. It allowed me to build a fulfilling career without sacrificing the precious moments of raising my children.
Now, even though my children are grown, the flexibility of my real estate career allows me to spend time with my grandchildren. We all live close to each other, which is a blessing. The lessons from my early days—playing Monopoly, learning the value of property, and balancing life's demands—have stayed with me. They remind me that with passion and perseverance, it is possible to create a life that harmoniously blends personal fulfillment and professional success.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my career has been the ability to help a diverse range of clients. From first-time home buyers brimming with excitement to older couples looking to downsize and find their perfect vacation home, each transaction brings a unique set of challenges and joys.
I take pride in making the homebuying process as smooth and stress-free as possible, often working behind the scenes to handle the complexities so my clients don't have to. If a client tells me the experience went smoothly, then I know I have done my job!
Over the past 20+ years in real estate, I have built long-standing relationships that span multiple generations. I take immense pride in having assisted not just my original clients, but also their children and sometimes even their grandchildren in finding their homes. These enduring connections are a testament to the trust and confidence my clients place in me.
